SAKAS Raagi Malt Powder / Nachni Satwa is one of the best natural and nutritionally rich food. Making of Raagi malt powder involves a lengthy process. Raagi is soaked in water for three to four days and then sprouted. Later it is dry roasted in two steps in industrial ovens. After roasting it the first time the seed coat is removed which is toxic. What remains is the endosperm and germ of raagi which are highly nutritious. It is dry roasted again to make it very light which helps it to cook fatster. Finally it is finely ground without adding sugar or any kind of preservatives to make Raagi malt powder. Nachni Satwa can be cooked in water or milk to make a nutritious kheer / porridge. It serves as a major source of calcium, iron and carbohydrates. SAKAS Raagi Malt Powder / Nachni Satwa is packed in polyester laminated, double layered food grade bag to retain the freshness of the flour.
